*Nurse Technician Job Description**Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will work closely with nursing staff to support patient needs, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics.*Responsibilities** Assist nursing staff with daily patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs and providing basic life support when necessary.* Perform catheter care and assist with other personal hygiene tasks for patients.* Support inpatient care by preparing patients for examinations and treatments.* Utilize eClinicalWorks software for patient documentation and record-keeping.* Educate patients and their families on health management and community care resources.* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.*Experience*Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:* Knowledge of physiology and basic life support techniques.* Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or teaching hospital is preferred.* Familiarity with pediatric care practices is a plus.* Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.* Previous experience in home community care settings is beneficial.* Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.Join our team as a Nurse Technician and contribute to making a difference in the lives of our patients through compassionate care and professional excellence.INDCHATJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRNPay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hourPhysical Setting:* HospitalExperience:* Patient care: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)Ability to Commute:* Chattanooga, TN 37405 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Chattanooga, TN 37405: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
