Job Description:
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join
our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Hiram, Georgia. As a
key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be
responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures
using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment.Key
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans on patients to produce high-quality
diagnostic images.
- Position patients for optimal image quality and ensure their
safety during the scanning process.
- Operate MRI equipment, including scanners and related systems,
to produce high-quality images.
- Assist with patient care and provide a safe and comfortable
environment for patients undergoing MRI scans.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare
professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient
care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including
medical history, test results, and other relevant data.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay
up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and
techniques.Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R
certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American
Heart Association (AHA).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI technology or a related
field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate
