technical resource overseeing the technical aspects of software
projects to achieve the Investment Management line of business
goals. Responsible for designing and writing software, and for
providing guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on
numerous products and/or developing various forms of technologies.
Think strategically and have long-range goals in mind. Preferred
location is Atlanta but we will consider other qualified candidates
in other locations. The Contributions You'll Make:
- Serves as the highest-level technical expert providing
technical leadership as needed to ensure the most efficient
discourse and project execution from a technical perspective.
- Evaluate existing Software engineering processes and recommend
improvements including those to the SDLC and Agile processes.
- Design and develop new systems and maintain and modify existing
systems as required.
- Draft and execute plans, track project progress and communicate
with business and technology stakeholders.
- Assist in project budget and schedule preparation
activities.
- Participate in process analysis, design, implementations and
commissioning phases.
- Acts as a technical SME, prepares technical specifications and
design specifications.
- Provide support in system acceptance testing and validation
activities.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing system
designs.
- Analyze project requirements and accordingly provide technical
and functional recommendations.
- Leads Development Engineering teams to oversee warranty reviews
and product return reviews.
- Facilitates continuous process improvements within the
team.
- Recommend new technologies to improve system performance and
reliability to senior leadership
- Other duties as assigned. Minimum Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS,
Engineering or a directly related field, Master's Degree
preferred.
- 8+ years of software engineering and development, including
minimum five in a tech lead role.
- Must be very hands on with technologies: Angular, C#, SQL,
Azure, Azure Cloud functions and services
- Must be able to collaborate well with business and technology
groups Nice to have Experience:
- Investment Management background.

committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable
pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual
base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this
position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary,
Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives,
sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to
reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please
note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this
posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted
salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work
experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level
and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time
roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours
