  • Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
  • Manager will interview.
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers.
  • PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS: ACLS, BCLS, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic with the ability to scrub are all hard requirements. Heart Transplant is highly preferred.
  • UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC, SBAR.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years minimum experience.
    • Unit accepts first time travelers.
    • Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR patient population.
    • ACLS, BCLS, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic with the ability to scrub.
    • Heart Transplant experience is highly preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • RTO: MAX 7 days.
      • BLOCK or SELF SCHEDULING - not available.
      • WEEKENDS: Rotation.
      • CALL REQUIREMENTS: Yes/variable - Typically one weekday/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.
      • HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
      • Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
