Position Details:
Title: Commissioning Engineer
Location: 100% Remote within commuting distance of a Major Airport
Compensation: $80k-110,000 and above + Annual Bonus

Travel: 75% - Generally 3 Weeks on site with 1 Week working remote at home

Position Description:
Provide technical support to plan, schedule and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities. CE's participate in the MEP design review process and in functional testing of complex electrical and mechanical systems. CE's collaborate with design engineers, construction contractors, equipment vendors, and client staff to test, validate, and make operational newly installed and operational electrical and mechanical systems including those in mission critical facilities.

Essential Functions
--- Perform on-site inspection, validation, testing and verification of electrical and mechanical equipment (50%)
--- Develop testing plans and procedures (20%)
--- Review construction related design documents, drawings and specifications (15%)
--- Reporting (15%)

Requirements:
--- The Commissioning Team is looking for technical rating/MOS's as well as Officers with Nuclear Surface or Submarine backgrounds.
--- E5 and E6 with an electronic controls background that are inquisitive troubleshooters that want to continue to grow their skillset
o Nuke ETs, GSE/GSMs, Aircraft QA/QC and similar roles have done well at this company
